"The Liars Among Us" is a psychological thriller short film about four college-age kids navigating the power dynamics of a secret society. This is a capstone thesis film created by Sophia Jordan.

Filmed in August 2022 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

This project is accompanied by Sophia's 60-page Interdisciplinary Distinguished Majors Thesis for the University of Virginia titled: Authenticity in Filmmaking: The Aesthetics and Production of "The Liars Among Us," which explains the making of the film as well as the inspiration and theory behind it.
