Home Off The Pacific (2022)
Sophia and her mother, Roxana, reflect on Roxana’s time living in her birth place in Latin America. The film features digitized footage from 15 rolls of Super 8mm footage taken by Sophia’s grandfather (Abuelito) in the early 60’s/late 70’s.

Lexie x Bolex: A chain in Alexandria
Shot on black and white 16mm film in November 2021 in Alexandria, Virginia. A connection of dance and Maya Deren inspired match cuts with the help of Fleetwood Mac. A demonstration of movement through time and space in a way only film can accomplish. The chain reaction comes to a halt and reverses, illustrating the flexibility and manipulation of film interrupting the flow of time.

Forrest x Bolex: The Bath
Shot on color and black & white 16mm film in November 2021 in Alexandria, Virginia. Black & white film digital scan was unconsciously manipulated for the red-ish look. A dog with bath-phobia is captured by owner to be washed. This short film plays with transitions of different types of film sets for an interesting blend of color and style.
